How much Polyprenyl Immunostimulant does your cat need for the treatment of FIP?
Figuring out the correct dosage of PI for FIP treatment can be a challenge. The dosage is 3mg of PI per kg of weight, capped at 5 kg. We've seen errors in the past, mostly due to confusion between the dosage requirements for FIP, as they differ from the information on the product's leaflet (PI for FIP is off-label use and requires higher doses), or to conversion mistakes between kg and lbs. This little calculator will take the guesswork out of the process, and give you the accurate dosage, in ml (or cc) for your cat based on his weight. You can enter the weight in kg or in lbs (no need for conversion). The calculator reflects the maximum dosage of 7.5 ml capped at 5 kg/11 lbs. No more room for errors!
